Easy Turmeric Latte Recipe (Golden Milk)

Turmeric milk is a super nutritious drink, especially for winters.
What is Turmeric?
Turmeric is a golden-yellow spice originally
from India.
It is multi-talented remedies for many different
ailments.
Try this delicious and
easy-to-make Turmeric Latte Recipe (Golden Milk Drink) that's caffeine free.
To make your latte, simply add the ingredients
to a small saucepan. As you bring it to a boil, whisk the ingredients together.
Once it’s boiling, turn off the burner, transfer it to a glass, and drink up!
Ingredients- Turmeric latte/Golden Drink/Spiced Turmeric milk
1 cups
of milk or unsweetened almond milk
2 teaspoon of freshly grated turmeric or 1
teaspoon ground turmeric
1
teaspoon of raw honey or 2 teaspoons raw sugar
1 teaspoon
freshly grated ginger or ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
1
cinnamon stick or ¼ teaspoon of ground cinnamon
3 cardamom
pods
a
small pinch of pepper
Instructions - Turmeric latte/Golden Drink/Spiced Turmeric milk
Add the milk to a small pot and heat on low temperature.
Add
the turmeric, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, raw honey or sugar and pepper and
stir frequently for about 3 minutes until the milk is warm, but not boiling.
Remove
from heat and take out the cinnamon stick. You can reuse it a couple of time.
Strain the milk either through a strainer or small colander.
Froth
the top of the milk for a few seconds with a milk frothier.
Add
more raw honey or coconut syrup for taste.
